As Vice President of The Historic Kappa House Restoration Foundation

Unity Through Fellowship.

While serving as Vice President of the Historic Kappa House Foundation, I helped lead efforts that resulted in the organization being awarded a $75,000 grant from the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund, a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

This highly competitive award was earned among more than 160 applicants nationwide and reflects our commitment to preserving the history, impact, and legacy of Historic Kappa House.

My role focused on advancing strategic initiatives, supporting grant efforts, and helping position the foundation for long-term success and continued community impact.

Between the financial assistance of the grant, leadership of our President Karl Stewart and the great work of Brother Ty Simpson, we’ve made huge strides in the restoration of our most prized possession!

As 2nd Vice Polemarch

Programming With Purpose.

During my time as 2nd Vice Polemarch, I focused on strengthening chapter engagement through high-level programming, strategic event execution, and meaningful fellowship opportunities.

I had the privilege of hosting the Robert L. Jenkins, Jr., Esq. Campaign Headquarters in support of his candidacy for Senior Grand Vice Polemarch, while also coordinating events that elevated the chapter’s visibility on a broader level, leading to the honor of Large Chapter of the year. From national networking opportunities to honoring distinguished leadership, I worked to ensure that every event reflected excellence, professionalism, and the strength of our brotherhood.

As Historian

Keeping Our Legacy Alive.

As Historian, I took pride in preserving the rich legacy of our chapter while ensuring brothers remained connected to the history and traditions of Kappa Alpha Psi.

I provided monthly “Kappa History Lessons” during chapter meetings to educate brothers on our founders, milestones, values, and the significance of our fraternity’s continued excellence.

I also assisted in organizing and relocating chapter archives, while helping preserve valuable Kappa paraphernalia entrusted by brothers who entered the Golden Shore.

My goal was to protect our story, celebrate our legacy, and make sure future generations understand the shoulders they stand on.

As Reporter

Modernizing Our Voice. Expanding Our Reach.

As Reporter for the Washington (DC) Alumni Chapter, I focused on modernizing communication, expanding our digital presence, and ensuring every brother stayed connected to chapter news and achievements.

In support of Brother Craddock’s rebranding initiative, I led the transition of our Instagram account from @FlagshipNupes to @DNupes, while creating visually engaging content that significantly increased chapter visibility and engagement. Our Instagram following grew from 1,348 to over 2,100 followers, and a new Facebook presence was established with more than 5,000 followers.

I also refreshed and relaunched both physical and digital editions of our esteemed Flagship Newspaper, ensuring every brother had greater access to chapter updates, accomplishments, and important information.

As a Member of The Board of Directors

Leading with Vision. Serving with Purpose.

As a member of the Board of Directors, I continued to provide leadership by chairing my respective committees and helping guide initiatives that strengthened the chapter by supporting Polemarch Greenwood and the 49th Administration.

In this role, I remained committed to service, accountability, and supporting programs that created meaningful impact while advancing the mission and long-term success of the organization.
